the first song is like old underoath. but the second one is like TOCS. i hope they continue to be more like the latter, I don't really like their old stuff.

I got an advance of it last week and its hardly left the CD player. Can everyone agree with me that the first track kinda sounds like ETID though?

It goes back and forth from older and newer stuff. Its a pretty good album its just a hard to get used to it from their last album.

I've known of Underoath since 2002 so I was familiar with the harder stuff but I definently have to agree with alot of people that i liked their last album better. Either way I think this album is just as good, but I need to get used to it.

Define The Great Line is a fusion of all their styles (besides the older more black metallish stuff) imo and I think it's studly.

i think this album is 200 times better, more creative, heavier, catchier, the songs all have the same theme but at the same time have their own sound, and you can tell every member worked individually to improve their part in the band and improve as a band musically.

i actually really like in regards to myself...so im leaning towards the heavier sound for them, i think it fits them a lot better. im not going to listen to anything else until i get the cd in my hand. what song is that teaser clip on definethegreatline.com from? that sounds like its gonna be killer.

They've managed to sucessfully create a catchy hardcore album, which is a great feat in my opinion.

I like this album and TOCS for different reasons, I even the The Changing of Times, but this is a fantastic album in its own right.

its "returning empty handed" on the leaked version and "casting such a thin shadow" on the real version. yeah that song is amazing, its instrumental through the first half of it. also anyone else thing "everyone looks so good from here" is amazing haha

I think you hit the nail on the head. I don't think anyone can deny that they all didn't put their blood, sweat, and tears into making this album mindblowing.

In Regards To Myself has so much energy, I don't see how someone could not like it. As far as purchasing this goes, does anyone know if the Special Edition with the bonus dvd will be available in stores (best buy?), or will it just be the exact same thing with two different covers?

I'm really impressed with this album, I think it lives up to all the hype surrounding it. It seems like a good mix between TCOT and TOCS. I hope my pre-order arrives early!

this record is the best thing to happen to our genre in so long
i know that this wont shake the world
but it has shaken my life and it defines what artists should do
it goes beyond singles, and it offers solutions and encouragement for those struggling
this band has given me new perspectives and kept me going when my engines were out
they stand for so much and are so open about who they are adn what theyre here for that to be so popular just proves how amazing they are
