I have created a new campaign called PROMOS4AWARENESS (http://www.Promos4Awareness.com) which collaborates band promotional photography and an effort to raise awareness serious world issues. The idea is to use Band Promos in collaboration with themes to help people open their eyes about the world issues around us. To date I have worked with bands on raising awareness through band promotional photography about issues such as Animal Cruelty, Cancer, and the lack of accessible water in third world countries!
I would love to hear the opinions of avid music fans, and readers of Absolute Punk and hear your feedback! Let me know if you like the idea, think it's lame, or even let me know if you hate it so much that you want to throw rotten feces at me out of pure anger and angst (I hope this will not happen). If you want to learn more about the project and campaign, please check out the website at Promos4Awareness.com (http://www.Promos4Awareness.com)
Check out the mission statement below for specific details!
Humanitarian aid is becoming more and more visible in the masses in a time where the demand is growing exponentially and beyond our wildest dreams. PROMOS4AWARENESS is aimed at targeting the unsaturated audience and educate them about various campaigns available out there. A quick search on the internet can expose you to thousands of campaigns, foundations, charities, and even organizations who are dedicated in providing relief to the less fortunate.
With the assistance of the music industry,PROMOS4AWARENESS plans through the involvement of various bands, record labels, companies, research and campaigns to engage and empower individuals to take action in educating themselves and their community.PROMOS4AWARENESS, is after all a campaign offering free promotional photography to bands in a theme centered around a specific idea triggered by a serious world issue.
PROMOS4AWARENESS exists mainly because everyone deserves to be heard and we encourage you toraise public awareness about various world issues surrounding us today in hopes you find something of interest to yourself at the same time.
"One person at a time we can begin to make a difference."
