Below is a message from Boy Crazy (http://www.absolutepunk.net/boycrazy) regarding the future of the band:
If you have the record we released, you will notice that we mentioned something about following your instincts.
As many of you know, I have been forced to wear a neck brace while I play my instrument. This is to help stabilize my cervical spine as there are two vertebrae in my neck that have caused me intense neck and shoulder pain over the past 3 years. After years of physical therapy, acupuncture, and countless doctor visits, I have come to accept that this is a part of my life for the time being. Unfortunately, this would prohibit me from touring or playing for an extended period of time. With this in mind, it would be unfair for me to hold my best friends back.
For those who know us personally, you know what this band and music means to us. Its never been about a record deal or trying to be popular, its about creating music and moments that can last forever. This band was based on best friends and brothers, and those special bonds will never
change. The only reason why this band cannot continue is due to my physical state and that is it. We are all on the same page. Thank you to those who opened their minds to something different and were able to appreciate a group of friends who wanted to breathe new life into the music community. I feel extremely accomplished in what we did. No one is going anywhere, and were all still going to be playing music as it is something that can not be taken out of us. We will keep you updated.
Saturday, June 24th we will be playing St. Johns Hamilton with Madison,
Adelphi, The Late Night, and 451. A final Recher show will follow.
I have learned in the past few months that life is all about moving forward. Unfortunate things happen, but once you lick your wounds, you come back a little smarter, a little stronger, and a lot more dangerous. Everything happens for a reason.
-Jordan.
