I saw the show last night... The Early November stole the show.
The Fight - They were the opening band.. what can I say? The girl sounds just like any other typical girl punk singer... and their guitarist pissed me off.
The Early November - Awesome. Opened up with 'Sunday Drive'. Played 'Every Night's Another Story' and 'I Want To Hear You Sad' along with others and a new one they said was recently written.
A Static Lullaby - Very good crowd response, and you wouldnt expect anything less from these guys. Excellent stage sense and tons of energy. My only regret was that they didnt play 'Charred Fields of Snow'.
Brand New - Really good.. but not the best. First off, Jessie was being an ass all night long. Talked crap about the crowd, and acted like the crowd wasnt good enough for him. He even said something about us not paying enough to get in. And of course, they played all the typical songs like 'Jude Law', 'Soco', 'Failure By Design', and the list goes on. Jessie just pissed me off... ass.

I went to their show in VA on thursday. Kicked ass...
The Fight are awesome so I dont know what ur talking about! And the guitarist, Link, is great!
I dont care for The Early November much, but I LOVE A Static Lullaby and they were amazing.
Brand New was awesome live too... and about Jesse... yea he was bein kinda a jerk to some people at the show. He was pretty nice to me personally I guess, but I still saw some bad vibes from him towards others when he was around some other fans.. but what can ya say.

That tour isn't coming here, sadly. Oh well I'll live. I'm going through ASL withdrawals, though haha.
So Jesse was being an ass, huh? Hmmm I wonder why.
got back a little while ago......early november did steal the show, i have heard so many negative things about their live show but none of them were true, badass show....
brand new did an awesome version of soco ameretto lime, it was sooooooo good
static lullaby, wasnt to impressed, though i did find the whole lead singer idea funny, the guy sings on maybe a fourth of each song, the rest of the time he was just hanging himself with his microphone cable, the lead singer was also a dick

Ironic. One of the things he (the guitarist) said, was talking about how much the crowd in VA sucked. He said he couldnt even remember what city they were in cuz it sucked so bad... (which made no sense). But I think it's pretty lame when a band trys to get a crowd more 'into' the concert by telling them how much better they are than the last crowd, and how much the last crowd sucked. Another two things he did that pissed me off were 1) trying to get everyone in the crowd to chant that A Static Lullaby sucks... which no one did. And 2) he tried to get all political on stage talking about how much he hated the president. He's fucking British, no one cares what he thinks about Bush.

No No.. you misunderstood me. I didnt say he GOT all political.... he TRIED. He was making no political statements of value.. and his main point was that 'The President is a wanker.... hehehehe' Once I heard this, I couldnt possibly imagine him to contain the IQ of any higher than a 3rd grader. And it was his fellow band-mates that were telling him to shut up and that he knew nothing of politics.

haha Joe's not a dick. Everyone thinks he is just because of how he is on stage, but he's not at all. If he did something mean to you personally, call him a dick. But if it's just based on his stage act, that's not the person he really is.

No... see me and my friends got into The Fight. The rest of the VA crowd did fuckin suck (which is weird for a VA crowd). They just stood there. But I hung out w/ The Fight afterwards and they were so fuckin awesome. Eh but w/e...
Oh yea. bout Joe from ASL... he's insane. Not a dick, just insane. He stole my pen.

Fuck you, you will never be last.............:)
i saw them in virginia, and the reason y the guitarist from the fight was talking shit was because, basically everyone in richmond thought they sucked ass, which they did, all the other bands played amazingly, and the jessie is a funny guy, i didnt find him to be an asshole at all, and all of the guys in a static lullaby were not ass holes at all, me and my friends were talking to them, and they were extremely nice people

That's sorta what I said earlier. I was at the same show as you. None of the guys were assholes as long as u werent some stupid girl followin em asking for them to sign ur boob.
And The Fight kicked ass... The crowd that night just sucked ass. My friends and I cheered for em and talked with em for a while afterwards. LOVED the accents. :D

The ASL guys are some of the sweetest boys you'll ever meet if you give them the chance. Maybe I'm a little biased because they all treat me so well, but they're great guys.
I still wish that tour would have come here.

They make ok music but they are such dicks. I have seen them both live and both the lead singers are just egotistical rock stars who think cuz they're names have been dropped in AP press a couple times they are gonna be the next big thing. Screw that, we dont need that kinda crap in the indie scene.
