We just put up 2 songs from our debut album, and we would really like to get some feedback on them. The album is still in the works, but we wanted to give our friends/fans some new stuff to listen to, to get them excited.

I really loved the feel and the build up at the beginning of "lights out", only problem I had with that, however, was that the vocals in the verses. It's clear that he isn't exactly a natural born singing prodigy, so maybe less of the voice effects (at some points it sounded too artificial), and maybe just let him loose; sometimes that's the beauty of it.
As for "Ocean Stars", even though it's extremely short (perhaps, if that was it, a repetition would come in handy at some point?). The lyrics are awesome too: "the sailors lose thier mark/they navigate by the stars that hide their shine as we sail by", I really liked that part.

It could definitely do with some improving, but I REALLY like this band. Keep up the good work, and please try to get that album out :)

Yeah, and it's definitely better. The vocals still sound noticeably autotuned for the most part, but like I said, that's not necessarily a bad thing. It melds with the natural vocals and the instrumentation much better.

our last show as "The Glass Gentlemen" is Nov. 20th in Utah. we're still making music together, but it's going to sound different and be under a different name. we're already 3 songs into our new album we're self-recording.

The Glass Gentlemen may come back if we ever get a full band together. rock music doesn't work well with only 2 people.
