Priestess is metal, but hardcore?

Priestess is actually reviewed in the latest SPIN but it's not posted up here yet so I don't get to talk about it...Anyway, they are definitely metal, but the old school kind. Would you consider them hardcore? and is anyone gonna see them at all with the Riverboat Gamblers this summer or has seen them recently? I'd love to hear about it, they are kickass....
