If you go to The Chariot's (http://www.thechariot.com) Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/thechariot) page you'll see no official statement, but Keller and Beiser are no longer in the band, leaving Josh Scogin as the only original member.

when i checked myspace this morning and saw that. i couldn't fucking believe it. i am a huge fan of the chariot and for beiser and keller to leave now is just a fucking shame. the chariot were doing so well and now this. i don't understand. the chariot's live show is nothing without keller's insanity. now all they have is josh scogin's antics, which is always good, but it just won't be the same. I THINK IT'S BULLSHIT! that's just my opinion though.

This is interesting...I mean, it's obvious that the kids would pick up on the change...but why not make an announcement, instead of allowing rumours to stir up?

Thats just Josh's style man. He didnt tell Norma Jean he was leaving until they finished their set at furnace fest a few years back.

right there with ya bro.....I LOVE the chariot as a four piece but AS THEY WERE....I wasn't a fan of the 5 piece and thought what they did as a 4 piece was insane and awesome.....I wouldn't be suprised if these new dudes just get mauled by fans.....they have some big shoes to fill.

New Members
In the early stages of every band, members often change due to whatever reason. And in this case it is no different. Having only done one full length record The Chariot is a very young band, and some changes have came. The only difference is for The Chariot many people have grown to know the members very well, which only makes changes like this more difficult to understand. But we rest in knowing you will. Recently, Keller and Beiser have quit the band for reasons of their own. Although it is something they felt they had to do, we would like for everyone to welcome newcomers Dan Eaton and Jon Terrey. They have been best friends of The Chariot for much longer than the band has existed so everyone is eye to eye on the love of music and the band is very much excited about the change. Obviously, the music will remain the same and every show is still booked and ready to go. They have currently started writing for their new record scheduled to come out early next year. "The songs we have written are by far some of my favorite songs yet," Scogin explains, "Obviously we love Keller and Beiser and we wish the best for them, but we respect their decision and we look forward to see what is to come." We do hope to see you soon. God bless everyone.

We are very pleased to welcome newcomers Dan Eaton and Jon Terrey to the line up! The Chariot has recently parted ways with members Keller Harbin and Joshua Beiser. It was a mutual decision on all parties involved, and we are very grateful for the times we have had. We hope the best for them. In other news, we are currently writing for our 2nd full-length CD scheduled to come out early next year. With an extremely busy year coming up, be sure to check the shows page to know when we will be in your neck of the woods. God bless you all.

This is horrible, a pure disaster for The Chariot. They were my favorite band on Solid State after Beloved broke up. I really doubt that they can keep a similar distinguishing sound with a new guitarist...I'm really going to miss keller and josh beiser. I hate making predeterminant statements, but just some of the stuff keller played...if he wrote it and not Josh (josh wrote a lot of NJ's guitars right, hence the difference in O God) then "Obviously, the music will remain the same" seems like it's a falsehood to keep a mass exodus of fans leaving from coming to fruition.
