1. I think sex in videos is tasteless and distracts from the music, and jeapordizes the artistic integrity of all musicians.

2. Because sex sells. Oftentimes a record can be sold just as easily on an artists boobs then her beats.

3. I think sex in videos is tasteless but its up to the artist to preserve their integrity. I would like to see mor etalent and less sex, but i wont condone censorship.

4. If the artist feels that would be the best expression of the lyrics, yes. But i guess it could be done without.

5. Because sex cells and doesnt make people think. The average MTV viewer will enjoy beating off to Britney, but doesnt want to think about the world. ( you can edit that if its too vulgar to put in your school report)

1.I think if they want to have sex in music videos than go for it. But for me it isn't going to make a difference on the music. But obviously the audience they are trying to target it is.
2. I think they have it for attention grabbers. So more of the kiddies will pay attention to it. Also people will talk about it that won't normally talk about it giving it more advertisement.
3. Well the chance of full sexual acts making tv is rare. I don't think they should be able to show full nudity.

2.) as everyone has stated before, it sells. it obviously grabs one's attention....causes controversy.

3.) depends on the channel is going to be displayed on and the overall accessibility of it to minors.

its a pretty pathetic reflection of what outr society has been reduced to. people try to appear like they have abandoned every shred of human intelligence and this crap on tv only encourages it. if youre surrounded by shallow and sex based music and tv how can anyone expect you to much better than that?

well most of the atrists that have all the sex are pretty big ego maniacs so yes, i guess they must enjoy it to some extent. but also the ammount of money they make when they have videos liek that is crazy. theyre smart enough to know what sex sells and the whoel world is buying.

i dont think you really can place a limit on the amount of sex you can have in a video becuase any boundry you woudl try to set has been broken. i dont think there should be unlimited sex, but there isnt a hell fo a lot that you can really do about it now.

well thats what people expect. if you heard some spng all about sex and you heard there was a video for the song, you woudl be pretty surprised and dissapointed if it was just pictures of flowers and kittens. so in a way people ahve to put sex in videos for sex related songs because nobody wants to dissapoint the consumer.
