Long Shot Hero (http://www.absolutepunk.net/longshothero) has hired a new guitarist as well as replaced their lead vocalist, Chris Irons. Additionally, the band has announced the dates for their upcoming "Ska's Dead, and My Buzz is Next Tour." A press release from the band can be found below.
"While the band is sad to see Chris go, we wish him the best of luck in future endeavours. The past 3 years have been amazing, but there comes a time when a band must grow musically. While composing the new album, we felt there was a need to push the envelope even further and move forward with our touring, and unfortunately, there were just some aspects lacking. As for the future of Long Shot Hero, you all know we have never had to miss a show, no matter what happened with any member, and that will not change now. Shaun will be taking over at the bands request as the lead vocalist, and we have hired Jim Hurley (formerly of the band Fail Me Not) as our new lead guitarist. We look forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming shows and on our upcoming "Ska's Dead, and My Buzz Is Next" 2006 Summer Tour. In regards to our new album, expect it to drop sometime at the end of 2006 / beginning of 2007.
And yes... We will continue to rock the dick out of shows!"
