Has anybody else noticed that the links at the top of the home page (Home, Profiles, Exclusives, Blogs, etc...) are a beige color when hovered over, but are white when left alone? It kinda bothers me because there doesn't seem to be a reason for it. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this too.

its to show that the link is active. many websites do that to show that if you click this link it will take you somewhere else. it happens on almost every link/clickable thing on this site.

so i take it you've never tried building a website with html on your own before. that link hover stuff is pretty basic. put your mouse on my username, it turns red!

Then who were you asking, the thread creator? If he didn't care he wouldnt make a thread.

It was really more of a 'why is it such a big deal' kind of question. Just trying to understand his point of view, is all.

It's not the color change itself that intrigues me, haha. It's the seemingly unnecessary difference in color between white and beige. I suppose notoaststereo's explanation makes sense, but it is underlined via hover anyways, so a slight change in color seems unnecessary to me. I have made web pages before, but usually use a more drastic difference with colors, rather than from white to beige. I know it's dumb, and really random, haha.

Not a big deal. I'm just ponderous.
...this is ponderous, man. really ponderous.

Beige is a really boring color. It should be changed to a better color that is drastically different from white.
