thanks.. the thing is the entry with the most likes wins the $1000 scholarship. i made a thread about it in the general forum wtih the link. she obviously knows more people on facebook than me and even though her entry is ehh she's beating a lot of other people (and i've seen some really awesome entries in this contest that should have a lot of likes)

Yeah I figured appealing to the larger Ap.net community would be a good idea. Figured you guys have lots of knowledge about networking, etc and even if you hated on me there may be one person who would wanna help out.

Aha yeah I need all the help I can get right now, Zinch doesn't specialize in art so obviously you could argue they aren't the most qualified to be judging but they do lots of scholarships and help out a lot of people.

I think that they're just trying to be clever with the name, not sure. I would definitely not consider myself one at all, and no my piece definitely doesn't warrant creative genius. It's just an example from my art portfolio because I really want to win the scholarship in order to help pay for art school in hopes of improving and learning more. Anyone who actually considered themselves a creative genius would just be arrogant in my opinion. That kind of thing is larely subjective as well.

Yeah they have all sorts of random ones, and then you can look up outside scholarships on their website.
