Was this inspired by Rooster Teeth? If so, well done, sir.
EDIT: Cake, by the way, by a long shot.

Half-way inspired. Also, GameSpot had a big ordeal about Cake vs. Pie a few years back.

Your favorite cake vs. Your favorite pie
Ice cream cake (that counts, right? it's shaped like a cake even though it has no real cake ingredients) vs. Chocolate cream pie is no easy decision, but cake takes the... cake.

Cake is superior because it usually has frosting :)
If it's chocolate cake with chocolate frosting...then it's pretty much superior to all other foods

Depends on the kind. I don't like crusty-topped pies like the traditional apple or cherry. But I love coconut cream pie, and I enjoy key lime pie.
Where does cheesecake fit in? It's more like a pie, but cake is in the name.

This idea intrigues me to no end. Does it actually exist?
Pie is superior.
Yes, yes it is.
Ice cream cake is supreme.
Ok, are we counting ice cream cake as cake? Because it's really ice cream... like would we be counting something like meat pie or shephard's pie in the pie category? I feel like we should clear up what's in and out of scope in this.

This is such a true statement that I've never really thought about...

Thanks... hahahaha. If you ever saw that episode of The Simpsons where Ron Howard, Alec Baldwin, and Kim Basinger come into the picture, you'll know where I got it. At the end, Homer pitched a movie script to Ron Howard that was only twelve pages long and it involved robots from outer space (from what I can remember) and a friggin' talking pie. Ron Howard actually liked the idea and tried telling the executive, "The pie is your heart." It has stuck with me for the past ten years or so.
EDIT: I totally messed up the quote (mine's not even included), but, I'm sure you'll get my response.

Ha, that's awesome. I need to see that episode. The funny thing about the Simpsons is when you hear things like "Ron Howard, Alec Baldwin, and Kim Basinger come into the picture," you know it was actually those actors and that's awesome.
