overrated. undertalented. the ramones and the sex pistols are two of the most overrated bands in history. they're hyped up as 'the grandfathers of punk'. in all reality, the ramones are mediocre at best, and play pop punk music, not punk. and the sex pistols are just a horrible band who got famous because the lead signer is an asshole and the 'bassist' was a drug-glorifying fuck. i'm so sick of bands like the ramones getting so much credit while actually good bands of today aren't getting any. move on to the future already. or at least stop wearing your sex pistols shirt you bought at target.
