Devin Of Emery Takes The Summer Off; Question Re-Issue

Emery (www.emerymusic.com)'s Devin Shelton will not be joining the band on their run on Warped Tour because he will be spending time with his new wife throughout the summer. Ben Tietz (ex-Number One Gun) will fill in for the summer. In other Emery news, The Question will be re-issued sometime this October. It is set to include brand new exclusive re-recordings of tracks from The Question and their debut, The Weak's End, a special DVD consisting of videos, behind the scenes footage, and a special video retrospective of the band.

I'm really liking the sound of "exculsive re-recordings"...more Emery music, even if it's just re-recorded, is always a good thing. I'm still happy/proud that I pre-ordered The Question and got that acoustic EP...if only it had more songs.

This was one of the best cd's of 05 by far. I really hope they start to get some more well-deserved popularity soon. Definitely one of the most entertaining live shows around, too.

What the hell? How come Tooth and Nail has nothing better to do than put out re-releases? If they want to give us "bonus material" then put all of that crap together and package it as a DVD/CD combo from the label or something. This re-release junk is getting out of hand.

its not like this band is worth a dime outside of the studio. absolutely awful live band. no one will notice a difference with any of the band members missing.

i am sad that devin won't be out on the road with them this summer, but it is definately understandable. it's gotta be hard to tour and never see your loved ones, especially a wife if you're married. I wonder who will do the background vocals.... i'm guessing toby will just do all the lead vocals now until devin comes back. it will be fun to see.

i got the acoustic ep also. it just depends on where you pre-ordered from. like underoath has different items depending on where you pre-order from. like a shirt or vinyl or whatever.

Great for the labels and bands, sometimes shitty for the fans...unless it comes with a DVD, then I think it's ok. Re-releases bring in a lot of money for not a lot of cost to the label.
