first show

my band is playing our first show on may 17th. its in two weeks. i am nervous. i told like everyone to come and like 1/3 of them are actually coming. alot of people from school will be there. my friend is taping it. it starts at 12:00 and we are the opening band. anyone have any advice? or anyone out there play shows or want to tell me about their first show?

ive played my share of shows, and it stage presence is key. make sure everyone of the bands is going nuts. whatever you play, jump around and sweat your face off. the crowd digs that. also make the whoevers on the mic doesnt talk alot between songs. and get stoked on the crowd; they all paid or came out of their lives to watch you. your the man. just play it like the girl of your dreams is watching.

Just go in fucking sane cause if they aren't into the music just yet at least you are entertaining them and they will probably get into it.
