There’s a spot for you here
On my side
Forget restrictions, forget fear
Let’s begin life.

All the songs mix
Transitions from her to her
If I’ll ever get out of 06
That’s what I wonder
You’re all that matters
She’s all that is me
I’ve never been that sure
Of who I want to be

There’s a spot for you here
On my side
Forget restrictions, forget fear
Let’s begin life.

Pictures never meant so much
As when they run across a screen
Forget the boundaries, fall in love
We’re writing our own scene
We’re faded to credits
But the screen won’t go black
We burn so bright
They just can’t ruin that

There’s a spot for you here
On my side
Forget restrictions, forget fear
Let’s begin life.

The theaters empty, but for us two
I’m so nervous to what you’ll do
What’s the purpose in leaving
If you’re staying here?
We’re making something out of nothing
Hope’s all we have here.

good stuff, it's not your best but this is still very good. and i really like the chorus (it's a chorus, right?), it was simple but catchy all the same. good job, man.

I really like this, but in my opinion, the second verse needs re-writing... It doesn't fit the metaphor, and since you have the metaphor consistent besides that, I feel you don't need the extra one. It almost makes it... slower? haha. Also, vocally, be particularly careful with diction so that these amazing rhymes come out sounding right. Phrased wrong, you won't hear how impressive this writing is. So catchy, yet witty and... just very, very good. Nice work Mike.

P.S. I do love the second verse, and you should definately use it in something else if you agree with me about consistency in the metaphor.

I really like this, especially the second verse :) I also like the ending and you managed to keep it simple yet effective. Well done

Thank you guys, it's very special to me. I don't know if I can like ever write another jawn like this one, because of the feeling I had at the time, but I'd like to try.

Reminds of something I could hear Rookie of the Year singing.

Which is not a bad thing at all.

Thanks a lot, I thought you had me on ignore or something.

Why would I have you on ignore?

Or anyone for that matter.

That's somthin' gays do.

Just seemed it, but it's cool. Thanks for the comment on the song. I've never really given Rookie of the Year a chance.
