Oh, and by the way, I have nothing against SUNY schools. You can get a great education through them, obviously. I just think it is hilarious when they try to drop the SUNY from their name. Like, there is already a negative connotation on SUNY schools, why are the schools simply reinforcing that ideal? But I digress.

Then you have Cortland and Morrisville calling themselves Cortland State and Morrisville State. It is just silly. You are SUNY __________.

Well I Potsdam is keeping with the SUNY roots, just those socks say university. Also I bough them 25cents each because no one was buying them. I can understand that they want to break from the SUNY roots because they are all becoming top notch university, except potsdam still a place were drunks and potheads go.
