At his show last night at the House of Blues, Ben Kweller (http://www.benkweller.com) announced that his new self-titled album would be coming out September 12th.

fuck. yes. one of the best artists I've ever seen live. saw him 3 years ago when he was in SF for two nights with death cab for cutie. they alternated closing each night. one of the best shows I've ever been to. he's so charismatic on stage.

You should have seen him last night. It was his birthday and he was fucking happy about it. Plus, he kept telling us about his new son. It was adorable.

can wait!!! long live BK. this LP should be stellar. He recorded every single sound on that we'll hear. and by that, I mean he played it, produced it, and engineered it himself. This is a BEN KWELLER album, and I'm beyond stoked.

its going to be a good album. gil norton produced it. he did people like the pixies. good stuff.
