Wow, this album is great..."hate me" is a good song on the radio, its better on album. Like Yellowcard, they have a violinist, but he is better than yellowcards. Their slow songs are amazing. Those picking it up for the grundge will be suprised, because the two songs that play on the radio are their hardest songs on the album.

I think the 2nd song the radio plays off this album is its worst song...but "Into The Ocean" the next official single is an awesome song. The last track as well as 6,7,8 are awesome.

Have you listened to their fucking album...they are far from seether, breaking benjamin, trapt, or any of that grunge shit polluting the airwaves. "Hate Me" is about his friends and family helping him with mental illness, not a generic breakup song, and the album version is better than the radio version. It is far from "emo", and it is certainly not radio rock. They don't even use rock in most of the songs on the new album. They make use of a violin, harmonica, acoustic guitar, and piano. Every song sounds different unlike most bands. Seether and Shinedown are radio rock.

The pathetic bands are Aiden, My Chemical Romance, new AFI, From First To Last, who dwells in depression and death. Blue October seeks to escape it.

Maybe it's just me, but Blue October is my absolute favorite band (you can kinda tell by my avatar). However, for me, Foiled was just...okay. Slightly disappointing after History for Sale and Consent to Treatment, which were both really raw in emotion, and I don't know, the latest album just seemed a bit -- more mainstream/radio-friendly than their usual stuff. I just wish people could listen to more than just their singles, which display almost nothing of the talent that they really have.
