Much in line with the MP3-decade trend of pseudo-psychedelic throwback pop bands comes Vampire Hands. Minneapolis-natives, the band's sound is far from novel, and a product of prevalent indie fads to fall back in favor with blogerground enthusiasts, but I find them immensely listenable and enjoyable.
Fans of Nurses or Chucky Danger will undoubtedly enjoy. Check out the track No Fun. It's title is the farthest thing from the truth.

There are few things that are certain in life, among them being death, taxes, and xJesusFreakx posting in a thread that kearn1tm made.
I'm not really familiar with the genre, but this band sounds pretty cool. So that they don't disappear amongst the other bands I want to check out, I'll go ahead and download the album tonight.

Oh, certainly. I'm always open to trying out new music.
I couldn't find anything of their on Mediafire or Megaupload, which is how I usually download music, but they conveniently have full albums on the MySpace page, so I'm listening to Me and You Cherry Red on there right now. Are they too "indie" to find in stores? Maybe I'll just pick it up next time I'm CD shopping or have an iTunes gift card.
Is "No Fun" a cover of the Stooges?

Me and You Cherry Red coupled with Cuz It's a Beach Funeral EP are packaged together now. I bought it from their site. They're not "big" enough to be in most record stores yet. They're fairly new and somewhat obscure at the moment.

Yeah and no. Kind of a revisioned version. The lyrics are different, the composition is different, but they initially intended it to be a reimainged version.
