Did anyone else think this was a load of crap? The original is so much better. I think Hollywood needs to get out of this boring trend of remaking movies over and over again or giving shitty movies sequels (Big Momma's House, Cheaper By The Dozen, etc.). They're failing miserably.

That's the one thing I didn't get, was the graveyard scene. So was the "mother" some kind of beast, or was that a human skeleton?

It was a Jackal. That's what the priest said. I'm just curious why a Jackal was buried in a woman's grave.

Also, what was the deal with the photographer?

Original was great. Remake was terrible.
