Reading the list of nominations for basically every single category listed makes me feel sorry for the people whose entire world in terms of music is popular music. The Grammys have absolutely zero relevancy for me.

Blink should just win an award for best band to reunite and tour and overall just for being the raddest band on the planet.
EDIT: Just looked at tjhe nominees. Beyonce and Lady Gaga are going to clean shit up this year. I've got a feeling the Black Eyed Peas are gonna get shut out.
I agree, the alternative rock nominees aren't bad.

I don't understand how you can take the Grammys seriously if T-Pain and Flo-Rida can be nominated for anything.

Every year, I get excited for the Grammy noms, not because they're a good assessment of the best music that year, but because I avoid mainstream radio all year, so I listen to all the songs and I usually dig out 2-5 songs I really like. Which is dope. Last year I found Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" and Adele's "Chasing Pavements." This year, I'm still in the process, but I'm loving Maxwell's "Pretty Wings."
And I hope Taylor Swift absolutely cleans up this year. Let Beyonce win all the categories Ms. Swift isn't in, but Fearless is one of the best pure pop records in years. She should go home with more little gold gramaphones than she can carry.
