I want to know if they have plans to put a cd out this year; and if not .... how many songs do they have written for a new album.

Your song "Modern Chemistry" is one of my favorite songs of all time and I was wondering if there is a certain story or meaning behind that song? I am forced to see a counselor almost every week by my parents and I relate to this song a great deal. The line "the panic stopped, but still i'm not right" describes me in a nutshell. Have any of you guys really gone to see shrinks or anything like that. im sorry if im real off base with this question, but that was how I always interpreted this song. Thanks for your time.

-what is your favorite song to play live?
-in commit this to memory there is a lot of mention of the season winter. why was it so consistent throughout the album? aside from the obvious, what other metaphors/motives are behind it?
-do you ever feel...i don't want to say guilty, but do you ever feel too bold mentioning names in songs? or do you feel they already know they're being spoken of?
-what was the concept behind the video for "you hold me down" and where was it filmed?
-do you ever see yourselves being at the point fall out boy is right now? that mainstream?
-what is your favorite tour memory and why?
-do you feel as though mcs fans are more laid back? they don't seem to have as much as a cult like shield over their band as so many other bands have in the scene.
-are you happy with your record label? how much longer until another album?
-what is the writing process like? is it more in studio, collaborative, or individual?
-how would you say your live performance is? i've always found mcs to be really good live. are they usually happy with it, especially televised performances?

- Is the song on the Superman soundtrack an indication of the direction the band is going in for their new album.

- Between IATM and CTTM they progressed in certain aspects but mainly stuck to their guns (Taking into account I fucking adore both albums). What kind of progression can be expected between CTTM and their new record?

- I just want to say that when I saw them live when they played a tiny show in Edinburgh to make up for Funeral for a friends cancellation, Tony Thaxton (drummer) sang the part in 'Hangman' which is sung by Mark Hoppus on their record. I would just like to say that he has a fucking great singing voice.

- They are one of the most down to earth bands I have ever met and made my month at the Edinburgh show by interacting with me whilst on stage ('Matt Moments'). Do they see fan interaction during/after shows as something they are used to doing or an obligation to their loyal fanbase.

i've seen them 11 times, and though they put on a great show everytime, they seem to usually work with the same set list.

so my question is:
are they planning on changing up the setlist any time soon? adding more new songs or playing more older ones (cambridge would be great)

-What are your plans for this years halloween costume? (Thriller was genious)
-Have you ever thought of putting a techno backbeat to any your songs and remixing them? that would be sick.

Not a question, but anything on the new album is great. I'd lov whatever information I got it.

What do they think about their growing success and popularity despite their not exactly accessible sound? It seems like a lot of the FOB fans are being turned on to MCS.

(I say not so accessible because it took me quite a few listens before I caught on to their catchiness, same with a few other people).

1. I know a lot of bands that are much bigger (blink 182, Green Day) that hate playing shows in their hometown because of all the friends and family are their and it doesnt feel like they are on tour, they like being thousands of miles away from everyone. Do you guys feel the same way?? Do you enjoy coming home and playing shows because the crowds are insane or do you love to go out on tour and explore new parts of the world and tour??

2. Now that your pretty well known in most of the world so people have a general idea of what you sound like is there any part or style in your music you wish you could change, or blend more, or tune a little finer up to a certain extent to where it changes the general sound of your music???

3. In a song about Minneapolis you mention a place called the "CC Club"....ive been wondering for a while....what is it actually called and where is it???

4. What is it honestly like being in a band on the road constantly to where you are basically never home unless for a few days to only switch tours?

5. Whats the best advice you can give to a band from Minneapolis that is trying to work their way up to do what you have been doing for a living?

6. Whats one of the funniest things that have happened to you guys while on tour that obviously wasnt supposed to happen???

Thanks!!!!

When touring the UK, i have noticed that you guys tend to book small-ish venues such as the Islington Academy, Water Rats and 93 Feet East. But on your upcoming tour, you have decided to play the London Astoria.

Is there a specific reason you chose to play small venues initially? Was it because you thought you didn't have a big enough fan base to book big venues, or did you prefer the intimacy of small venues?

Throughout I Am The Movie there is a running theme of anxiety, specifically Agrophobia. Is this something one of you has had first had first hand experiance with? and if so how did you overcome it to get where you are today?

related to this question:
if Justin doesn't mind sharing, what mental problems does he have? and how does he feel about exposing them to the world through their music?

one of the things that has always intrigued me about MCS is that their songs deal with serious issues, but are musically light-hearted. is there a reason that they do this, or is it just what comes out when they write lyircs and music? do they think they accomplish anything different by this style?

and totally unrelated:
what up-and-coming band would they most like to tour with?

When are they coming back to Hawaii, because the show was amazing?
Does Jesse still do handstands?
How do you (Jesse) do all those stunts without getting hurt or having your Keyboard fall?
Can you really fight (those) 32 small cats at once? 1 or 2 big ones?
How's you guys get signed to Epitaph?
Was their really a Video Game battle bewteen you and Matchbook Romance, where Judas won?

oh! and everyone Justin's hair is like that because of:

being a kid building tree houses, lighting and tree sap.
