Dreaming of Revenge by Kaki King is a good album. Probably her most accessible. One of my better liked albums.
And I just heard The Life and Death of the American Fourtracker by John Vanderslice the other night, which was a fine album, whether it's his best or not.

It would appear that he is the least known or most "obscure" of that list. I know I've certainly never checked out his work, and I am Canadian.
