haven't watched much of any of these, but the simpsons and family guy are too similar and american dad and the cleveland show are just spinoffs of family guy, so i voted for futurama. i'm more of an anime fan, though.

The Simpsons, but why isn't South Park on there? It's a different kind of show than those, a lot smarter, but I think it still falls under the category. It's close to as good as The Simpsons. I'm probably just choosing The Simpsons for nostalgia reasons, anyway.

As much as I love The Simpsons, I'll go with Futurama. Cohen and co are such a smart and talented bunch. There are things I enjoy about all of these shows but I find it to be the most well rounded. I do enjoy my sci-fi adventures, robots and math/physics jokes as well.

how in the hell is family guy clever? they repeat the same jokes over and over again, the storylines are cliched, the characters (maybe except for Brian) are one dimensional, and the many of the gags are thrown out randomly.

That's not opinion, it's fact, and the creators of the shows agree.

in american dad's defense, that show was already in the works before family guy got "un-cancelled". family guy ran for three seasons then got cancelled then they started working on american dad, but the family guy sold so many dvds and became a late hit after it was cancelled that it was brought back. however cleveland show is the real spin off....they both suck.

family guy is great, the simpsons are a classic but have gone downhill for almost half the series. at least there is still new simpsons because one day there wont be.

I sure miss when The Simpsons were on top of the adult cartoon world. Anytime I watch any episodes from the first season all the way up to a scattered few more recent episodes, I enjoy the amazing elements of humor the show contains. With recent seasons, goin' straight to the funny-bone is a rarity (that includes the movie), but, nothing beats those classic Simpsons moments.
