we had a thread not along ago about worst announcers....balboa is the biggest homer i've ever heard, and he blamed everything on the ref, he even said it would be a travesty if that ref did another world cup game

Eric Wynalda actually made a good point on Mike and Mike this morning...Maestrioni made a terrible decision with that foul, being so far away from the goal and after a ref has shown he will red card, and might even be looking to even up the sides

The british announcers are so good though...I was listening to their commentary in the Liverpool game once, taht went into OT and then PK's, and when people would get hurt towards the end of the game, he drops the "Yeah...it's Cisse's turn to be hurt"
