Okay, so, I've been living with my now ex boyfriend for 6 and a half months and we just broke up Monday and we still live together until I can get everything packed and over to a friends house. I've had a bad habit of listening to nothing but Dashboard Confessional and Taylor Swift because well, I still love him...so, can you guys help me with a more, I guess upbeat playlist to listen to?

Pretty much every song off blink-182's Enema of the State.
The Cab
Say Anything
The Swellers
Relient K
hell, even Cobra Starship
If it's more upbeat stuff you want, those are some bands that would be good, even if you might hate them.

I'll have to check out The Swellers, I've heard alot of good about them but I've never checked them out.

That's the reason I checked them out, everyone on AP was raving about them. They didn't disappoint, I hope they don't disappoint you :)

Yeah, any pop-punk albums... get some ska-punk in you too (Goldfinger, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Streetlight Manifesto) usually nice and upbeat.

Songs I highly suggest:

Farewell - First One On the Blog
Fight Fair - Brain-Freeze!
Anberlin - Glass to the Arson
Goldfinger - Superman
Streetlight Manifesto - Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe
Four Year Strong - Go Long Dad (I prefer the Demo 2005 version myself)
Set Your Goals - Mutiny!
fun. - Walking the Dog

And definitely listen to all of "Get Stoked On It!" by The Wonder Years. I promise, it will do you good

I'll have to look those up, the only one I've heard is the Anberlin one.

Listen to Dog Problems by the Format. That should do the trick :)
