new mest cd - info and stuff

i just downloaded the whole new mest cd off mIRC....and i have to say, its amazing...catchy melodies, great sing a long choruses and solid, powerful guitar harmonies.....for any mest fan's who haven't heard it and are waiting to, let me tell you, you won't be dissapointed.

this album kind of leave's off where Wasting Time there second album, left off. it takes more of there older sound approach, but also shows how much they've matured and grown as a band and song writers at the same time. its really amazing. the tracklist is as follows:

mest is one of the most generic bands ever...altho i must say i dont know why they havnt made it big yet.

sure, they're generic....

but they also fucking rock. some of the nicest guys ever and some of the best pop punk music ever. and ya, the new cd is just as generic as the others, but in a different way. they will go big! eventually they'll write one song that just makes them explode, although they are fairly large now.

i tihnk tihs cd is crappier out of the three. ionly like the first 2 songs and walking on broken glass.the rest is pretty bland a bit of a disappointment

really? im surprised you think that...i thought all mest fans would die for this album...i think its amazing...but thats cool, i respect your opinion.

although if i had to pick favourite tracks they would be:

- until i met you
- rooftops
- walking on broken glass
- 2000 miles
- jaded (these years)
- paradise (122nd and highland)

i really like mest, and i love wasting time and destination unknown, but i have to say that this cd is fucking horrible. i was so excited and anxious to hear it, and when i did, i wish i had never wasted my time on downloading it. out of the entire cd, there's maybe 3 or 4 good songs. the cd is SO DAMN SLOW. there's like 3 or 4 songs that have a mid tempo or fast tempo, and those are the only good songs on the album.

overall, i'm really disappointed in how the cd turned out...but hey, that's just my opinion...think what you want of it...
