Really old but what the Hell:
You can't have Christmas every day
Because if you did
it wouldn't be special
Its' not about religion
It's about meeting, greeting, giving
receiving, sharing, eating
And being helpful to those who are needy
If everyday we did this
There would be no reason for Christmas
It's about lovers
who fall in love and then apart
For those who need a new start
It's for wishers and dreamers
to come out of their sleep
and see
all the winter peace
that the holidays bring
where the lonely gathered to
watch the snow
and realize they're not lonely any more
If every day we did this
We wouldn't need Christmas
