I met him. Black Flag is one of my favorite bands, and his stand up routine was incredible live.
He comes in 3rd place for Black Flag frontmen. After Chavo and Morris. He was way better than Cadena.

Ahhhh smart man.
I really can't pick. Jealous Again and Nervous Breakdown rule, but Rollins is so good on everything. I've been listening to In My Head a fair amount recently.

I hate this guy. I wish he would just shut up and cheer the fuck up. Life has been pretty good to him, yet he seems to have nothing to be thanful for.
At the Big Day Out festival in 2006, AFI were replaced by....yep you guessed it....Henry fuckin Rollins and his boring as shit spoken word. On Main Stage too.

while December Underground was weak compared to their previous work, there are a few songs on the album that I enjoyed.
Plus their live show is pretty incredible and to be replaced in favor of this human sleeping pill was just not on.

There is a kid from my hometown who wants to be Henry Rollins so bad. It is sadly obvious, and...a little pathetic.

Do you mean, "Get in the Van"? If so, that's hardly indicative of his talents, as he wrote it while on tour with Black Flag in the late eighties, and his recitation of it (while good) is more like an older, smarter Henry Rollins jibing the young, know-it-all, anger filled Rollins. His later stuff is gold, but his newest, "Provoked," while still good, sometimes borders on standup comedy.

I never really watched the show before and while I was flipping through channels the other night I came across it ironically it happened to be one of his scenes. At first I thought I was seeing things, then he opened his mouth and I was glued to the TV. Rollins' no doubt is a god amongst men and so intelligent.
