Love pretty much all of his albums, save for Incognegro (which I haven't heard) and Release Therapy. I was actually listening to some tracks off Theater of the Mind yesterday.
Anyway, thoughts on the dude? I heard he acts, too

I can dig. I usually favor Theater Of The Mind and Word Of Mouf. Haven't really gotten into the other albums with the exception of a few songs.

He's okay. I liked Theater of the Mind, but that's about it. He's not bad, I just can't really get into him.

Back for the First Time is still my favorite from him. Definitely one of the best lyricists to come out of Atlanta.

Love Luda. Theatre of the Mind is my favorite by him, but Word of Mouf is excellent for nostalgia.

Haven't chekced out Theater of the Mind but I hear good things. I think he's a very funny lyricist without being a total joke act.

Absolutely check out TotM. Every song on that album is good, or even great. He and Wayne set shit on fire on "Last of a Dying Breed".

One of the few rappers that makes me proud to be an Atlantan :-)
Fun fact: his mom has been over for dinner at my house
Move, bitch, get out the way...

He does and surprisingly he's not bad. He was in Crash, which won an Oscar or something I think

Certainly is an incredible lyricist. I actually think his downfall is usually with his choices of beats. Frequently he chooses subpar beats which simply don't match up with his incredible lyricism.

It's still a pretty sick brag. I'm sure he'd be nice to fans, especially since he'd be a guest at your place...

Gonna bump again. Word is that Luda has the number one spot (PUN!) this week. Good for him, even of BotS gave me a headache.
He had a very good thing going with Theater of the Mind. Why'd he go and squander it?

I thought his next major album was still on its way and Battle Of The Sexes was just some side-projectish thing.
Sweet avatar.

No, it came out last Monday. Wish it didn't at all. He's better than this. :thumbdwn:

On when the new album will come out, Ludacris said, "That's what comes after 'Battle Of The Sexes'." It means that he will drop the record in 2010 as "Battle of Sexes", a joint record with Shawnna, is expected to arrive in stores by the end of this year.

That should make up for BOTS, which I'm just going to skip altogether.
Just tap it in. Give it a little tappy. Tap, tap, tap-a-roo.

Everybody Drunk, I Do It All Night, and My Chick Bad are good of his new album. Party Ho Mo is good aswell and he goes real hard on the intro. I like his new album a lot actually. Always been a huge luda fan Back For The First Time is still my favorite probably. Ultimate Satisfaction off Release Therapy is one of my favorite tracks of his though.

Luda is the man. he usually shines on his guest features, especially in the mid-2000's
nowadays i think he's grown as a songwriter, release therapy was a good example of that (even though lyrically he's not as sharp as he used to be, but he can still drop some good shit when he really wants to). theater of the mind was tight, and the songs i've heard off BotS have been alright. i haven't heard the whole thing yet

Luda says that Ludaversal is coming out either late this year or early next year. I have a feeling that it'll be neither.

I always felt as if Theater of the Mind was a really strong record that got no press due to some of the other big albums in hip-hop that year (Tha Carter III, 808's and Heartbreak, Paper Trail), but I have to say I liked it more than Paper Trail, for the most part. Haven't heard it in awhile though.
