So I know at least a few dates have announced (Ausitn, and San Antonio). Are there any others announced? Also, does anyone have any ideas on who else is playing. The website for Emo's says Dance Gavin Dance.

they are hitting the norva feb 2. still bummed this is going to be their last tour. :(
I was hoping pierce the veil would be coming along since i remember reading they were touring February. I saw PTV and SKSK together like a year ago and it was an enjoyable show. I will take dance gavin dance though and/or the sleeping.

2/3 at the TLA in philly
2/5 at School of Rock in South Hackensack, NJ. Just got an email from Excessdb about it... main support is The Sleeping for that show.
I can't even make it home in time from school for it because it's a Friday. Pretty sad.

i really hope they add another band to this tour. At the austin show, it's them, dgd, and 2 local bands (that are decent), but they open just about every show at emo's. i don't care that much about who it is, i just don't wanna see the same 2 openers a thousand times.

awesome. I need to find a way to get in contact with them also, I helped them all out at the apple store last year when I worked there and they said to get ahold of them and they could get me on the guest list whenever they came back to ABQ and that we would party lol. They were supprised as I was the only person in the store who ever heard of them.

I'm really hoping they open with something other than Degenerates or Free Again.
I'd love it if their set started with the drums then pick up with the synth for My Darkest Hour.
Who all is still in the band for this tour?

I wanted to see a setlist before I went to their show tomorrow. I really don't care for there ep and first album. When I first heard faces I made the mistake of buying their first album. A lot of ppl I know never really got past that album. They were passed off a generic screamo band. SKSK self-titled is something to be proud of. It's unfortunate that they're breaking up.

Any SKSK setlists yet?
I remember they opened with The Only Medicine and closed with My Darkest Hour, The Deep End, Faces, (encore), and one rarely played song.
I can't remember much else of their setlist cuz the sound was so shitty. You couldn't hear the vocals at all and the sound kinda blended together. I know they played Degenerates either 3rd or 4th and I'm pretty sure they played A Pistol To My Temple, Watch Me Bleed, This City Sleeps In Flames, and several more. They played for, I think, just over an hour. They also played several rarely played songs, cuz they said it like 4 times throughout the show.
They were ok live. The singer seemed very uninterested. The keyboard played was pretty much doing an erotic dance the entire time. The rest of the band wasn't anything spectacular live. I met the whole band after the show and got pics with a few of them. And Dance Gavin Dance was ok. I've never really been into them.
The opening band was by far the best band on the show. I've seen them twice and both times, they have made all the other bands seem really boring to watch live. Check them out myspace.com/firefromthegods

How was the turnout for this? I'm hoping that ticket sales will be low and they'll move the Charlotte date from the main stage at the venue to the smaller one. We've got The Sleeping then a few locals so I'm not sure if that'll affect it.

thats too bad that 8 of the 13 songs are from the self titled. some of those songs are solid but city sleeps in flames>>>>>self titled. im glad i got to see them pre selftitle. drowning, faith in the knife, bright side of suffering, the world as we know it and empty glasses are awesome songs and that sucks we wont here them again.
however i still will go to the cleveland date if everything works out right. regardless this band got me into "screamo" music so I wanna see them this last time

Wanted to go but couldnt. My friend went and Pouyan made me a video :)
The Pittsburgh show at Diesel was sweet, Had no idea Modsun was gonna be there til I looked at the set times, haha. One of the two opening bands were terrible, can't remember their name but I know they were local and really young. The Sleeping absolutely killed it, and Scary Kids did too. The sound in Diesel is pretty shitty so you can barely hear the vocals, but overall really great show. Sad it's their last tour. They had to cut their set a few songs short I think though cause of curfew.

02/13/10, 07:03 PM
I was at the show in Pittsburgh last night as well. Diesel sucks for the fact that the stage is about 5ft. high, the sound sucks, and the band always has to be done by 10. I'm not even sure why that local band was there because they were absolutely terrible. The Sleeping was awesome and SKSK killed it even though it was hard to hear Tyson half of the time. I got to see them a little after the show for one last time, which was depressing, but it was a great show.

I think they were called Parcore? or something? I don't know but the bassist looked about 5 years old. They totally ruined My Life For Hire for me haha

just went to there last show in Cleveland, Ohio it was the best show i have ever been to in my life, everyone there knew the words to the songs and were screaming them. i think i crowd surfed at least 10 times because everyone was going nuts. and got on stage afterwards for some good bye good times thanks. the best was when i started a Thank you Scary Kids chant began they looked sad as fuck. they will be missed.
