Anthony Bayside Explains His Account

Anthony of Bayside (http://www.absolutepunk.net/bayside) has responded to the incident (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=145756) that took place with a few crowd surfers at their show the other night:
It's very common at packed shows in small rooms for crowd surfers to wind up on stage. We have nothing against crowd surfing, dancing, stage diving or whatever. We welcome it. I was definitely not pissed about what happened last night. The problem is that when there is no barricade, when you crowd surf, there is nowhere for you to land except on top of someone in the front row, someone on stage or some equiptment. When there is no baracade you run the risk of injuring yourself, another fan or a band member. When there are security guards there to catch you at the end, everything is alright.

And I didn't get "beat up" and no one "hit me with a mic". A crowd surfer landed on the mic knocking the mic into my face and the stand on my hand. It was an accident and it happens all the time. It's no big deal. The verdict is that I have a broken right hand but I'll servive and we have no plans on canceling any shows.

Yeah, yesterday's post definately wasn't an exaggeration.Why isn't anyone making fun of the guy that can't spell definitely? Maybe it's because half of you thought it was spelled that way anyway. At least Anthony was able to spell it correctly. And that's pretty badass of him to not bitch about a broken hand.
