Dirtfest 2006 (http://www.dirtfest.com) will take place August 19th, 2006 at Birch Run Expo Center in Birch Run, Michigan. The line up is one of the most diverse I have ever seen, it seems like they have a little bit of everything for everyone. There will be over 60 bands performing on five outdoor stages. Tickets are "dirt" cheap at $22.50 advance, or $29.00 the day of. There will be three headliners that have yet to be announced, the following are scheduled to appear:

Is this FATA booking & Velocity touring fest??? I have never heard of any of the bands below the top ten. It is really funny how Dirty fest totally ripped off the Bamboozle logo though.

It looks like a good show to me and you are starting to see more and more festivals with very interesting line ups.

this show has been going on for like the past 10 years now.crazy. I believe they have been using the same logo as well....just never really had the money to get bigger bands to play.

its 5 hours from my house. but maybe i can convince one of my friends to drive up with me. its a pretty good lineup

mae valencia and vedera are the only fata bands on this show, so either you just really suck or your just a fucking retard

This is the 10th year of Dirt Fest. In the last few years they've had it at a local park, with all local bands. I think this is one of the first years they've had national bands.

I think for like the first 8 years it was a hall show with a fancy name.

was that really necessary, or are you just one of the ass holes who hates on Chiodos since they got signed? Yeah I'm dissapointed that they're not playing it, but a wedding seems just a bit more important.

looks pretty sweet. 20 min drive for me. there are a lot of great local bands on the bill, too.
