Haha, i was kidding about the sxe thing. But even though I do prefer Underoath to The Red Chord. I have nothing against The Red Chord, they just bore me, they have a few OK songs.

lol why??
does it dilute your hardcore reputation?
make people group you together with those who listen to different music?OMG!
give people the wrong idea about hardcore, even though discussions about "true" hardcore take up like 20% of the posts in here? or even less, depending on who gets to define genres (you, i guess)
waste forum space? on a server you don't have to maintain, i'm sure this is a big deal too.

whatever, I don't like underoath. But as long as we're using free-for-all moderating, as I see here, and in other genre subtopics, I say talk about underoath wherever you want, as long as it's not hip-hop olol.

i was referring to the fact there were 4 underoath threads on the mainpage of this forum yesterday, which, in fact, is a waste of space.

I agree.

Red Chord is really heavy, and Guy has some really solid vocals, but I don't really get into their music. I don't listen to a ton of metal though.. I'm really into pop-punk, which is why I like Underoath.
