We the Kings goes to Europe for their tour on March 9th so the remaining dates may be very limited.
As much as I want a Philly tour, I think they are going to skip it since they seem to be booked for the east side already.
(Unless they will do a Philly show on 2/3 or 2/7)

The one time I've gone to a Take Action tour show was in 2005, and the lineup was Sugarcult w/ Plain White T's, Anberlin, Hopesfall, and Hawthorne Heights. That was an incredible show.

I'll probably go to this for There For Tomorrow, and I enjoy Mayday Parade... but compared to the lineup in '05 (and other years past), this sucks.

Had a MISERABLE time last night. Some 45 year old woman almost got me kicked out for swearing at people who were complaining about the shoving, and because I was "pushing the whole show". I was pushed behind her by the crowd, and I couldn't move. The asshole had obviously never been to a show at the Masq (this was inbetween There For Tomorrow and ARTTM). At least I made it back to the barricade before WTK's set, but just barely.

HUGE fan of no Miserable At Best. Most annoying song to hear live. When I last saw them, all of the girls around me were FORCING themselves into crying and singing at the same time. When the song started all the girls were like "Let's all start crying". I almost left the venue. I am SO stoked to hear that.

HUGE fan of no Miserable At Best. Most annoying song to hear live. When I last saw them, all of the girls around me were FORCING themselves into crying and singing at the same time. When the song started all the girls were like "Let's all start crying". I almost left the venue. I am SO stoked to hear that.

I can't wait for the day when Mayday drop playing Black Cat. I'm almost positive Alex's guitar solo is the only reason they keep it in, because it can't be for crowd reaction (people go more nuts for When I Get Home and Jamie, from my experience). I just don't get it.

Also, having only heard One Man Drinking Games ONCE in the 3 years I've been a Mayday fan... its time to start playing it more.

Hmm. Tonight's show is supposed to be doors at 6:30 and show at 7:00. I'm a little worried about it being over by 11. I live an hour and a half from Toronto and my last bus home is at 11:30, 20 minutes away from the club. Normally I'd try to arrange to crash with a friend in the city but that didn't work out this time. I'll be stranded if I miss that bus. XD But I don't want to have to leave early. WTK is my main motivation for going to this show, though I like MP and TFT a lot, too.

And yeah, there aren't too many people our age going to shows like this. XD At least not ones who aren't parents playing chaperone.

I went to the show on Sunday. Wasn't the best show ever but some of the bands put on a good performance. Mayday Parade wasn't very good, but some guy jumped off the balcony during "When I Get Home, You're So Dead" and the body guards got pissed and were running through the crowd trying to find him.

Mayday Parade are one of the many bands trying to reach the big brass ring at the top of the pop/punk scene. Armed with long hair and catchy lyrics, Mayday have the tools and the talent to get there. However, their live show supporting We The Kings fell short of expectations. They definitely have their stage act down pat - jumping and swinging guitars in sync with one another - they were a fun band to watch. The rest of the band played well and sounded fine, except for lead singer. His voice was showing the wear and tear of a long tour, and he would often take the mic away from his mouth for the higher notes. The harmonies between the guitarist and the drummer sounded great, which leads me to believe the lead singers voice was the main issue.

Also of note is the fact that the Highline Ballrooms' speakers suck - they made both bands sound much worse than they actually were. It didn't affect the vocals or drums as much as the guitars, making them sound like a base cannon in a 1988 Mercury Cougar. I know this because they played "Party In The USA" during the set change and even that product of technology and over-production sounded like shit. Taking that into account, Mayday Parade had an OK show. Despite the rough vocals, the rest of the band was fun to watch and played very well. I don't think many fans even noticed the vocals - they were too busy screaming the songs themselves. If you are Mayday Parade fan, I think you will enjoy this tour. If you are looking for a new band to fall in love with, there are bigger and better fish in the pond.

With so many pop/punk bands on the scene right now its hard to figure out which ones are good and which ones suck. Any band can get on facebook and myspace, scrape up some cash for an over produced album and boom goes the dynamite! - you're playing Warped Tour. What separates the good bands from the bad are sincere lyrics, catchy songs and a great live show. We The Kings have all three qualities and are quickly breaking away from the pop/punk pack.

WTK only have two full length albums out so their set consisted of a blend from both. They also played a great cover of Jimmy Eat World's "In The Middle", although I think some of the crowd were only 3 or 4 years old when "Bleed American" first came out. WTK were all business on stage, except for when lead singer Travis Clark would tell one of his "stories"(boring). I think his stories were more for the band to set up the next song than to entertain the crowd, but it didn't matter because the band played great. From old hits like "Check Yes Juliet" to new songs like "Story Of Your Life", WTK sounded fantastic(even with the fucked up speakers of Highline Ballroom). This is the first show I have been to in a while where there were bras thrown on stage - so I think the crowd was into it.

I would really recommend We The Kings if you haven't heard them or seen them play. I think they are definitely in the top tier of the genre and their great live show was the nail in the coffin. I enjoyed seeing this show tonight. Brian Dales (The Summer Set) and Brandon Wronski (Eye Alaska) made a special appearance (separately) on two TFT songs. I couldn't believe Mayday didn't play Jersey; it should be their concert's staple. Quite disappointing
Even though I planned to skip out on WTK; I ended up staying and they turned me into a fan. Travis' rendition of All Again For You made my heart melt. Awesome show overall except for the fact that I stand out among all those 13-14 year olds

I guess they aren't rescheduling for Baltimore.
I know Philly got rescheduled for 2/22 but it got cancelled again. (since they already had a show that day.)
Such a good tour. Too bad both of my dates got cancelled.
