why anyone would want to cover that song, even if it is the leonard cohen version of it because it'll immediately be compared to the Jeff Buckley version which is the best cover of any song, of all time.

Why is everyone covering this song? Jeff Buckely, Gavin DeGraw, Rufus Wainwright, the chick's version on the OC, now these guys....give it up

You've only covered a mere fraction of all the covers that exist of this song. Why is it covered as much as it has been? You shouldn't have to ask if you've heard the song. It's one of the best songs of all time.

I have heard the band play the song live, and their cover is an excellent rendition of the song (similar to Jeff Buckley's cover). I am excited to hear this recorded.

Also add to the list of people that have done covers of the song: Rufus Wainright, Bob Dylan, Bono, The Dresden Dolls, Imogen Heap, Ari Hest, and Sheryl Crow... Like I said earlier, I am excited for this to come out.
