The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I love the first two movies and it saddens me that they even bothered making a third, especially without Rachel Weisz.

Okay, so now you finish the sentence. And maybe we'll get some discussion going where we convince each other to watch whatever we've written off for some reason or another. Let's hear it.

Haha, mummy 3 DID suck.

I have no interest in watching a lot of movies. I think this thread needs to be about the films you have no interest in watching even though everyone else does.

I personally have no interest in watching 30 Rock. I've tried it and don't like it. Also don't understand how it wins all those Emmys

Where the hell is this coming from? Area 54 is nothing near PA in plot, and is supposedly done 50x better then PA.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. A lady I work with keeps telling me to see it, so we can talk about it. I've had it on my laptop for months and never feel like giving it a shot.

Your avatar is Gerry, no? In that case, you might be right that you might not dig Star Wars. And that's not meant as a judgement either. They're just on VERY different ends of the spectrum. But there's never any harm in checking out a movie that's different from what you're into, either.

Paranormal Activity. It's getting too many mixed reviews, and the film looks and sounds ridiculous.
Also, Twilight. I'm not one of those stupid haters that claim that they made vampires look like fairies etc. It just looks like a stupid film, with good looking people in it.

I figured that would be understood for some cases. Didn't want to make the title super long, and my example wouldn't apply. Haha. I really NEVER want to see Mummy 3 under any circumstances, and I watch crappy rom coms from time to time.

I'm a huge film nerd, yet there's a stigma attached to Irreversible that keeps me from borrowing my friend's DVD. The descriptions of the opening scene just sound like something I don't really want to witness, regardless of the fact that it's not real.

Oh, and Transformers 2. Proud to be one of maybe 10 people on the planet that saved their money. Because if I'm gonna poison my brain, I might as well just sit next to a gas pump for a few hours.

my friend, who is a HUGE film fan, made me borrow this movie and said that it was amazing.

i watched about the first 15 minutes after having it for over 3 months, and i turned it off, wept, and went to bed. okay, i didn't cry, BUT the movie was so terrible/cheesy/bleh i just couldn't stand it.

I have no interest in watching Harry Potter.

I know everybody seems to be obsessed with these films but from the moment the first movie came out, I have never even had a smidgen of interest in watching them. Plenty of people swear by the movie series, but it's not for me and I don't really see what separates them from the pack of any other film series.

I forgot about this thread. There is officially nothing I don't want to watch. I've seen Salo and Baby Geniuses and movies that star the Olsen Twins. Voluntarily. If it were possible, I'd watch every movie, read every book, hear every album, etc. There are just some that are lower priorities.
