I've always meant to really give New Found Glory a decent listen. Never got around to it. Now's the time to start. What's the best jump-off point?

There really isn't a huge difference between them, save for Coming Home, so I'd say start from the Self-Titled.
Personally, I heard Catalyst first, which got me into them, but I heard Sticks & Stones soon after, and that solidified them as my favorite band.

Sticks and Stones.

Though the self-titled is one of my favorite albums ever.

true.

Steps:
1. go catalyst first,
2. then Sticks and Stone,
3. then everything else.
4. or try listening to Oxygen and It's Not My Fault first, then if you liked those songs, listen to Coming Home First. then step 1.

1 sticks & stones
2 selftitled
3 nothing gold can stay
4 catalyst
the other two (not without a fight and coming home) are shit imo. I was super disappointed by those albums.

Sticks and Stones probably. But I'd always recommend starting with the self titled. As that's when I first listened to them.

I started with Nothing Gold... back in the day. However, I'd recommend Sticks and Stones or the s/t. They're definitely the most accessible.

I'm also gonna recommend starting with Sticks and Stones. Whatever you do, don't start with Not Without a Fight. That album was average at best.

I'd normally say Sticks and Stones, but seeing as they're touring for the self titled right now it might not be a bad choice either.

It depends on what you like. If you can't get into their old stuff right away, start with "Not without a fight." That's what I did.

I found NWAF to be less gripping than Sticks and Stones and the self titled. It's not a bad album, but it's not their best either.

That was their greatest hits, which wouldn't be too bad of a starting point either. But I still vote Sticks & Stones.

I'd start from the beginning but Self Titled, Catalyst and Sticks and Stones are my three favorites.

i heard sticks and stones first because i bought it when my friends over you came out, then borrowed my friends self-titled. they were both amazing, then i got catalyst when it came out (its kind of different from sticks and stones and self-titled).

Which is least liked by fans, Catalyst or Coming Home? I personally enjoy both, Catalyst being one of my favorite NFG released, but those two seem to get the most heat.

Catalyst is their only album that I don't listen to on a regular basis. Mainly because of Jordans vocals. Coming Home is a great winter time album though

start with self-titled or sticks and stones but they're all good in their own right. not a bad album by this band. kind of surprised by the feedback on not without a fight, one of my favorite records this year.

catalyst is their weakest i think. has a few really good tracks (truth of my youth, all downhill from here) but a lot of filler. coming home might be my second favorite.

i think yourr best bet would be just to listen to their hits cd and then go back andlisten to the same allbum as whichever songs appeal to you. i have alot of friends who arent crazy about nfg but love coming home

I did something like that. I love "Situations" (not on an album, ugh), "King of Wishful Thinking," and ever since I was a kid I've liked "Dressed to Kill," "Eyesore" and "Hit or Miss". But I'm an albums guy. I like listening to whole records. Hence sounding out some opinions.
