Yea, my parents said in Madison they got like 14-16 inches. I'm in Oshkosh at school and I'm not sure how much we got but probably around 12 inches. 8-)

i had a snow day last year....first time at my college in like 5 years (because they are so rare since mostly professors/workers/commuters have to drive which is a small percent of the population at my school).....of course only the morning classes up until classes that ended at 3:15 were canceled, and that semester all i had on monday was a night class at 6:30. i had an exam that night and as i was in the library cramming, the announcement came that night classes were also canceled, the library just erupted in cheer, one of the best moments of my life.

oh and in high school i once had two snow days in a row like in the movie snow day..it just snowed really hard again, we didn't break the snow plows or anything like those kids did......it was amazing and i feel like it happens once in a lifetime although every person should experience it at least once, has anybody ever experienced that?

We got a little tiny bit of snow at U of I this morning, but mostly it's just cold as fuck because of the 45 MPH winds we have right now. My cousin lives in Mt. Horab, Wisconsin and works at Tyrol Basin, their local ski resort (if you can call it that haha) and said they got almost 20 inches. I am very jealous.

Madison right now is fucking amazing! Everyone in the entire city has a snow day pretty much. I've got a paid snow day from work, which I didn't even know was possible. It must have snowed like a foot and a half in the last twelve hours.

Last night, everyone in my apartment complex got wasted in celebration, and today we woke up early and played in the snow for a couple of hours before making chili and having a potluck. Seriously, one of the best days of my life.

I remember being furious one day when we had almost 3 feet of snow at my house, the roads were covered in black ice and a layer of snow, my car wouldn't start, my mom's jeep couldn't get out of the driveway, and the mountain pass I had to drive over every day to go to school was closed. Yet no snow day. The school got all pissed off when none of the over the hill kids came.

I'm at EIU, the wind is absolutely ridiculous. The fact that our campus doesn't know how to salt sidewalks is just awesome. I love nearly falling with every step I take.

yeah, buts that cause i am from missoula, and most of the kids from my school lived up in the hills so school buses couldnt drive up there. but i also graduated three years ago... before global warming. hahahah.
