i was actually thinking about that the other day. I know he got hurt either the start of the 2004 season I believe. I think we may have bought him out of his contract.

Either way my only memory of the asshat was they intentionally walked out #2 hitter to put load the bases with two out to get to Higginson who was hitting 3rd in the lineup that day. it was like the 5th or 6th inning and he stormed up to the plate like he's some reincarnation of babe fucking ruth or something and took monster practice swings. he digs in really hard and just looks so pissed and looks at 3 fastballs outer half and goes down looking. That dude fucking sucked. He was the epitome of the shitty-ness that's been the Tigers for the last 13 years.

The main thing he should be remembered for is how an athlete can properly rob a team of millions upon millions upon millions of dollars for being mediocre. I cannot think of anyone else right now in baseball that got paid over $52 million to be shitty at the plate and "A good fielder" in the OF. Like RF is an extraordinary defensive position.

The one play I remember Bobby Higginson making was when he robbed a Home Run from someone. He backed up into the fence and lost his balance. He put his glove up and it went right in. Everyone thought he was a hero for that, but he kinda was surpised he caught it.
