Casey Crescenzo's (ex-The Receiving End Of Sirens) new project, The Dear Hunter (www.thedearhunter.com), will be doing a short east coast tour with As Tall As Lions (www.astallaslions.com) and Cassino (www.myspace.com/cassinoband) in August and need two more members to complete the member lineup. If you can play keys (mainly organ) and other percussion instruments (ie: conga, timbale, shaker, tambourine, etc.), or if you can play piano please contact Casey at: caseyblue@gmail.com. Both people must be able to sing, feel comfortable improvising, and must be inspired from all music, from jazz to hardcore. Also, it helps if you are from the New England area.

hes beginnin to seem rather desperate. but that would be cool if someone on here could help him out. someone on here already said he was doing a little trumpet for the tour.

It's not really a matter of desperation, he;s just very particular (which I don't blame him for at all) and there aren't very many singers who play organ and conga in the Boston area, or in general really. And I'm sure he'd like to rehearse and get all of the members on the same page before the August tour rolls around.

Yeah. I'm like 99.9% certain it does. It's As Tall As Lions' cd release tour... and I don't think an ATAL release tour would be complete without a LI date.

Yeah, that's what I figured, but I wasn't sure since I've only heard mention of Jersey and Connecticut and a lot of shows have skipped us ever since the Downtown closed.

I'm highly anticipating stuff from all three of them.

-Full length? ATAL, August
-EP? TDH, September
-Anything? Hopefully Cassino, anytime soon.

Isn't the replacement Cody from ACB?
If so they shouldn't have a hard time playing their really tech stuff live because he is a great musician.

I think the vocal range Casey gave them is going to be basically impossible to replace. And the sequencing he did on the album will definitely not be present on the next one, but I still look forward to hearing what TREOS does in the future. BTHATS is my favorite CD of all time, it just hurts to think that i'll never hear anything like it from them again

I'm very excited for cassino. If the album is as good as the demos...

It's really hard to recreate an album like that though and make something more. As much as I am a fan of The Receiving End of Sirens, I don't think they could have one upped Between The Heart and The Synapse even with Casey.

I was talking to Dan ATAL and he was saying that august 8th-11th they'd be on the east coast from va-mass...and he said it wouldn't be a very long tour. Really short...so I'm not sure if that's helpful or not. Although I would think they'd hit up ohio since their pianist family all lives there. haha none of that info is helpful. sorry. haha

I think that's a very interesting point. However, they are throwing a new guy into the mix. and cody seems like a really interesting addition. I think we're all gonna have to wait to see them w/cody before we can make a determination about treos' next album...although I hope they come back w/a ridiculously amazing album like between the heart and the synpase

I would if I could. Glad to see they're still awesome live without Casey. Of course thet aren't gonna make BTHATS pt.2 they'll progress and still rule(like bands).
