But if not, that really just makes me sad.

Any reason Rock Kills Kid and Less than Jake are NEVER included each week? They have to be selling more albums than these bands.

Their next album should be huge, this one will just be a steady grower, kinda like TTTYG was.

Where the hell is Thursday?!? My god, wake up people!!! And those Murder By Death numbers are awfully low... I know their music cannot possibly be considered "commercial" in any way, but still... I guess the fact that I still am unable to find it ANYWHERE should have clued me in...

Cartel - Chroma: 6,126 (46,511)

It's starting.

The push target gave the album selling it for $7.99 had to help with the re-release business. I bought 3 copies and already own the album. Ive given away 2 for gifts and both people already switched their myspace song to a Cartel song...so I feel like im doing my part.

Am I the only one here that cannot stand Gnarls Barkley? If so fine, but it sold more copies in one week last week than Cartel has since Chroma came out...and that just baffles/angers me.

That's got to be real disappointing for LTJ and their label then. They were definitely expecting at least decent sales. I really don't know how they couldn't have done at least 10K-20K so far with their following, though.

And good to see that the Bouncing Souls record should pass 10K this week. That album is a gem of a pop-punk record.

I kind of thought this one was already to get the ball rolling down the hill a few months ago. I kept seeing "Studying Politics" on XM and getting major exposure with the same song being used on Prison Break promos.

I totally agree. If you take Halifax's figures and divide them by the number of weeks its been out (3 i think), it comes to a respectable 5,656 per week which isnt bad at all, still not great. I really enjoy the Halifax cd so i am hoping word of mouth will push it further.
As for Cartel, it seems as if the label is really behind them so one would think that its only bound to sell a lot more. I jst found out about cartel on the SIFB tour and they blew me away.
I hope both bands make it big.

How bout a SIFB Part II (The Starting Line, Cartel, Hidden in plain view, Houston calls, halifax) B-)

Panic! At the Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out: 38,346 (753,752)
Nick Lachey - What's Left of Me: 34,799 (365,461)
Hawthorne Heights - If Only You Were Lonely: 5,160 (373,104)
I wish Nick was outselling them...but, he's doing well regardless, probably gold by end of July at the latest...the good news, he is outselling HH.

Cartel - Chroma: 6,126 (46,511)
I'm assuming this is the re-release...what did/is the original selling at the moment

Quietdrive - When All That's Left Is You: 909 (4,571)

They must have gotten no push...because this album should be selling off the shelves to a 15-18 crowd...

Epic Rerelease 1st week sales. Onsale and endcapped at BB@s nationwide and they've been running commercials for it as well.

A lot of CDs SHOULD be selling but don't. Quietdrive got a decent push.

That Cartel is the rerelease week one therefore to see what the "original" did simply subtract this week from the total...
