I agree, The Chariot puts on such a crazy and fun show that it doesn't really matter when they mess up - i don't need it to sound exactly like the album

I've been to hundreds of shows so I've seen a lot of bands.

The Chariot are just an enjoyable band to watch. They flip out and so does the crowd a lot of the time. Like when they played Pontiac and where throwing their guitars around and throwing the mic stands into the air while spazzing and what not, it's just entertaining. If I just watch them I enjoy it.

Most of the time I just stick to throwing down in a pit, but I can just watch the Chariot and thoroughly enjoy it.

How can you possibly hate on Greeley compared to those bands?

I mean, some of their older stuff doesn't involve that much talent...but their two newer songs? The drumming is like insane and they totally stepped everything up to get WAY heavier than before.

Yup... I remember saying something like this in the Scream The Prayer tour thread. It was my first time seeing The Chariot, and someone said they are extremely sloppy. But damn they make up for it with all the energy they bring.

My hometown venue gets shit tours because they're so restrictive.
But Syracuse is only an hour away, so what the hell.
And I think it'll be cool to see the Chariot, but I need reccomendations on what to listen to by them.

When I saw them with NJ, they only played 1 1/2 songs off of Wars, it'll be nice to see more. Charleroi, PA roll call? About 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh if you're curious.

The Color Morale are great. They sound just like the album live.
It's been awhile since I saw Greeley (Sept. '08), but if I remember correctly, they put on a good show. New shit live is going to be ill.
I have yet to see Memphis, and I really want to.
and I don't care for Inhale Exhale.

I'm pretty stoked on this tour, though I'm not stoked that there are no Soma or Glasshouse dates. Ah well, Chain Reaction isn't that far from me.

show was decent last night in orlando, i don't remember all the songs... but i know off the top, back to back, policeman, and daggers were played, i'm horrible with song titles, i only know those ones because josh said their names before the songs.

some dude had a seizure halfway through the show (right after they had technical dificulties for 5 minutes, and right as the banjo sample for die interviewer was about to start) and well, yeah, the chariot lost a good 30 minutes of what was suppose to be a 50 minute set, and didn't even play die interviewer. glad i got in for free and didn't pay for this show.

yeah, you could say that. i think theyre committed as a band now to being heavy as possible and that was pretty much the theme of the set. Like Blue Morning is already kinda heavy but it did sound like they took a couple breakdowns and made them way more brutal.

Compared to what they used to be, they already are. I saw them a few times before they got signed opening for a local named ELI. Go to their old myspace The Killer Apathy. They progressed ALOT, but the lead singer chilled out. He headbutted some kid in the front row one time because he got hella hyper.... Then he apologized after the song though.
But yes they are pretty damn good live as well

Saw this show in Richmond last night.
It was excellent. Memphis May Fire was a bit sloppy but "Cowbells" and History of Mercia killed.
The Color Morale and Inhale Exhale were pretty good. Heavier than I expected. Greeley Estates played the best out of all of them and The Chariot put on a very intense show.
