but i called it. i've been gone on vacation over the last 5 days (disney world was the shit). so i missed out on alot of the finals talk. i said heat in six, even after they were down 0-2, people were saying it was over. i havent seen what any of the dallas fans, besides radiofriendly, has said. but don't blame it on the refs, if that's a card people are trying to pull. the mavs gave away that series. none the less, it was a great series.

also, usa soccer sucks ass, we should've bee 0-3, not 0-2-1...italy scored in their own goal, that's the only reason that game was tied. this was a horrible showing on the us's part...not as bad as the olympic basketball team a few years ago though.

Yep. The Mavs lost the series when they blew their game 3 lead. Up until that point, Shaq had placed the series right in the Mav's hands. After the 3rd quarter of game 3, DWade never looked back.

And as for US soccer, there was a serious lack of many things on the field. The attack was weak, the effort wasn't always there, and many mistakes were made. Even though that penalty kick call was terrible. A game should never be put in the hands of the referee. OH well, See you in 2010.

im not gonng go on alot about this cause ive done it far too many times here, but you cant honestly say the officiating had nothing to do with the outcome of the games, because it did. That being said if Dallas had played worth a damn in any of those 4 games they would have won all of them besides game 4. they lost it, credit to the heat, and the wade loving refs.

the mavs lost this series(and it was there series to lose. i think the outcome was more in their hands than the heat, regardless of dwayne wade), because they nearly completely lost their shot, played lazy defense, committed atrocious turnovers, had no superstar, and couldn't, for the billionth year in a row, keep a 4th quarter lead, when it counted. you could maybe make a case for game 5, but it certainly didn't make up for the fact the mavs just didn't show up.

not sure when i said that, but i was referring to the refs deciding game five on the free throw line, and the bizarre differential at the charity stripe in that game. but like i said, that had little to nothing to do with outcome of the series. its like said. nobody showed up.
