seven years ago this was an ordinary morning
seven years ago we were indestructible
seven years ago there was nothing to remember
seven years ago we could go into airports without empty pockets
seven years later and we're already forgetting
nothing is infinite
nations are fleeting
memories are fleeting
to elementary students this is just history
they know what we learned, but not what it means
