I was thinking the same thing good response though. I have been to Warped at a couple different venue and it is possible to sneak in later at some of the venue. I wouldnt advise it but for those of you that said you worked for this site and dont then maybe you should try my suggestion.

Press passes do not get you into Warped. You need tickets. If you make a laminate you may be able to get in. But when the dudes of Thin Dark Line brought me in last year, security looked over the laminates. So uh goodluck trying to forge them.

Tickets for Toronto are like $50 or something.

They are $40.75 Canadian before Ticketmaster charges which translates to $36.25 US. I am going in Cleveland and tickets are $33.75, so really they aren't that much more expensive.

its not that hard to get into warped for free legitimately. any monkey w/ a shitty fanzine can get in for free w/ passes, which kinda sucks since a lot of these kids use the passes for personal use, not press, and just get in the way of the people who actually have a job to do. the photo pit last year was ridiculous.

Instead of banning them from Warped Tour, which I'm unsure of how you could do such a thing, you just need an AP staff member (a bigger one, someone who is intimidating, strong and fearless) to tour with the concert and everytime someone tries to get in as a fake staff member, they tackle them and just beat the shit outta them. That way, they will just be too traumatized to attend ever again and will have to go to therapy the rest of their lives to conquer their fear of concerts.

Plus, it'll entertain people standing in line or people who are too hot to be happy.

Whoever said passes are easy to come by if you have a zine is right. While the zine I work for isn't no where near small, I know plenty of people who got passes for running a site that gets like 1000 uniques/month, which is terrible.

At my Milwaukee date, the lady was like I have you done for a press and a photo. Where's the camera? I didn't have one so she gave us another press pass. Usually press pass just gets you in so/so, but this year they were pretty relaxed in Milwaukee. I could go wherever I pleased.

It was funny though when I told the lady that I wasn't doing an interviews or anything. I was just there for the show. "How did you get a pass then?" I guess I'm just that damn good.

Uhh, they don't check your ID when you are buying tickets at outlets. Last I checked I buy ALL of my tickets with cash. Hell, sometimes they don't even check your ID when you are paying with a credit card.

32.50 is a deal for the amount of music you get to see. The best deal of the summer. I don't think its worth the hassle to wait till the day of the show to try to get in for free. I also think if you focus on getting in for free or waiting to get in for free later, you will miss some of the good acts that get the unfortunate early slot.
