What can we expect with your new music?

For Circa:

How do they like the "small-town" atmosphere of Doylestown (where I live, and where they apparently live)?

What's their favorite song to perform?

What's their favorite song they wrote?

Thanks.

His answer will be funny. He hates it...but let him answer it.

He told me, and I'm sure many other kids, that he only likes the songs he does...and the foreign singers piss him off. He said its like...too artsy.

Who knows what he'll say for the interview though

But ask both bands what their new material is shaping up like?

For Circa Survive:
1) What direction are you going in with the new record?
2) What is your least favorite song on Juturna, and why?

For The Fall Of Troy:
1) Is the rumor true that there is going to be a split cd with The Number Twelve Looks Like You?
2) Which bands influence each member?
3) Since Thomas is also the vocalist in The Hills Have Eyes, how will that affect your schedule with The Fall Of Troy?

For both bands:
How does it feel being on Equal Vison Records? How have they helped you with your success?

FrancesdaMute
06/23/06, 04:54 PM
for both bands: favorite releases this year thus far?

for fall of troy: are you rerecording more songs for the next album or can we expect some new material? What was the deal with cancelling all those tour dates(hopefully get a legit non bs answer)?

for mr. green: are you involved in any collaborations coming out soon?

live4music
06/23/06, 04:59 PM
for circa obviously

they say they were heavily influenced by the music they were listening to on their last record i.e. dredg and such. can we expect their current listening pleasures to continue being such an influence?

Kif
06/23/06, 05:23 PM
For The Fall Of Troy: Will Phantom On The Horizon be the band's final record since it's huge time for writing and recording? Also, they are coming back to the UK for the third time this year. Do they like touring here better than touring in America?

06/23/06, 06:30 PM
this is going to be a stupid question that i don't think will be answered. but if you could ask circa survive if they noticed some kid run into the concert area then get dragged out by security during the saves the day/moneen show in calgary.

... all i wanted to do was see them live and buy some merch, but i couldn't get a ticket... it was a sad day... lol

Why is your band completely falling apart (TFOT obviously)?

For Anthony: How do you think the new Saosin album will turn out and are you still in touch with those guys?

if TFOT could put together a music fest with any 5 bands (living or dead), who would they pick and why did they pick said bands?

also, for TFOT, what type of progression and influence should we expect for the next record...

thank you..

ive seen this band twice in asbury park, neither time by choice. and both times the prick has made it a point to say his band's music is better than bruce springsteen's. this isnt him saying something stupid, this is him being an arrogant prick with a holier than thou bullshit wannabe rockstar attitude.

ill bet any takers 1 million dollars this band will be forgotten in the music world 20 years from now.

Ask TFOT what they think their future looks like as a band. All signs point to a break up very soon and none of us want that.

Ask them when we can expect Phantom On The Horizon to be released (their next cd) and how many of the Ghostship Demos will be on them?

Ask them if they are planning on getting a new van seeing as how it has made them miss half the shows on the He Is Legend tour.

Find out what will become of Tom's side project The Hills Have Eyes, and when we can expect some material from them.

Find out what Tim and Andrew have planned for side projects, if any.

How did it feel to drop an amazing full length at the ages of 16 and 17? (Their self-titled)

When can we expect studio versions of new songs such as "Excreations" or "A Man, A Plan, A Canal, Panama"?

If offered a major label contract, would they take it? Or are they against that?

What are their reactions when people tell them that they are the most talented kids in the scene and that each of them are prodigies?

Find out if Tom likes playing drums still - they said he's only been playin guitar for 5 years.

Ask Tom about the famous video of him punching a kid on stage that landed on his pedals.

Favorite cities/venues/states?

It is obvious that TFOT changes their set list almost every single night. What are some of their favorite songs to play live? Is there a chance that they still play songs from their first full length?

Which is their favorite ghost ship demo?

Looking back on their past, how do they feel about "Martyrs Among The Casualties?", now that they've grown so much more musically. (That is their demo EP)

How do they feel about the past year in a nutshell, with the growing fanbase and such?

How many copies has Doppelganger sold?

***************^^^^^^^******^*^*^*^ *^*^*^

Any of those would be fantastic. Thank you.

Fall of Troy
How long do you intend to take off writing new material and how do you think this will influence the outcome of the new material?
Do you often feel frustrated with your bad luck with vans/venues etc, or do you take it as every day hassle that comes with being in a band?

Circa Survive
Do you feel living together in one house during the creation of Juturna really helped the process?
Will it be hard when writing new material to keep creating unique sounding music when there is so much generacy in the 'scene' in the present day.

I hope these get asked, cause i really wanna know what they think!

For The Fall of Troy.

1st of all, Whats the deal with you guys and HORSE the Band? Is there some kind of real issues there? Whats the story behind all of that jazz.

2nd, What inspires all of your crazy song titles, for example "The Hol[]y Tape" and, "You Got A Death Wish, Johnny Truant?" is that any reference to the British band, Johnny Truant? if so, what is the story?

3: What bands do you like in the scene right now?

4: I've been noticing you guys on the up & up lately, is there any chance of moving away from Equal vision and signing to a bigger label?

5: Will there ever be an official release of the "Ghostship E.P."?

..and lastly, I know you probably get asked this all of the time, but I've still yet to find out the answer. What does F.C.P.S.I.T.S.G.E.P.G.E.P.G.E.P. stand for?

JoshCool7717

The book House of Leaves inspired both of those track titles. It's really "The Holloway Tape" but there is a reason for the brackets in the book.

Ask Andrew how long he's been playing drums and how he manages to manifest such unique and rad beats.

how could you like the prick if he talks shit about anything and everything at shows? so you enjoy when some dude whos voice is similar to that of a humpback whale thinks he is gods gift to earth?

and whoever said this guy is a better singer than bruce springsteen...wow. i cant believe you actually think that.

oh and mister interviewer, ask this singer guy if he has the balls to meet me next time im in new jersey so i can beat the shit out of him. if i put him in the hospital he wont be able to make whale noises on stage for a long time.

The reason for the brackets is not because of the Holloway tapes in the House Of Leaves, they left it out because at the time of the album release, Natalie Holloway (the girl who is still missing on a spring break trip) was all over the news and they didn't want to create controversy.

TFOF - do you enjoy the smaller more DIY shows? (IE: playing on the floor in say a VFW hall with no lighting and a decent sound system. having no boundry between you and the kids) Or the larger more professional shows (IE: real staging, lighting, sound techs and miced equiptment, security keeping kids off the stage)

Want to know how to solve your problem? Stop seeing the band. Also, if you didn't like what he said the first time, and you were forced to go, why go a second?

If you stop seeing the band you've erased your problem of having to listen to him shittalk.

And in another post you say Anthony Green sounds like a whale. Honestly, I don't hear it. Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass and listen to the melodies he creates.

Circa Survive:
Does Anthony's voice ever get reallllly destroyed on long tours? It's gotta be hard to sing like that constantly.
And also, how do the guitarists duplicate some of the noises and feedback sounds on "Juturna" live?

Also, when can a new album be expected?

for fall of troy specifically Thomas:

Is The Hills Have Eyes future brighter than The Fall of Troy's?

it just seems like The Fall of Troy is goin through some rocky times right now but i really hope they stay together but also the Hills Have Eyes really need an album because Thomas is soo amazing as just a lead singer.
