I disagree. Bobby Orr was certainly one of the best, but Gretzky IS the best. Nobody is better than Gretzky. 61 NHL records including 92 goals in a season, most consecutive 40 goal seasons, and most assists ever including the playoffs doesn't lie. There's no way Bobby Orr is better than him. You're insane.

Okay? Do even know anything about hockey. Actually..have you even seen a game before? Anybody who knows even remotely about sports knows that Wayne Gretzky is the greatest hockey player ever. Bobby Orr is not better than Wayne Gretzky. Plain and simple. Of course most goals for a defensemen is good, but if you watch hockey you might know that the defensemen set up at the points. They have the best oppurtunities to score. He was the most successful. That doesn't mean he's the greatest.

is he from boston? cuz there is a running joke with gretzky that involves people from boston. When someone meets him and says "you're the second greatest player i have ever seen", and gretzky responds "oh, you're from boston?" If Orr's knees didnt give out on him, there would be debate about who is the greatest.

whomever said the kid probably never saw orr or gretzky play is probably right, he almost definetely didn't see orr, and if he actually watched gretzky play he'd know gretzky is #1.
