ah @#$% yes I love Dragon Head. still need to find the 2nd volume the stores around me are like a full volume behind on this title. I always meant to check out battle royale. I'll buy the book eventually since I don't feel like spending money on 15 volumes of the manga.

The other day I checked some FY manga out of the library. It was a prequel or something called "Genbu Kaiden." It's kinda reminds me of the movie The Pagemaster.

haha yes, exactly. Yes it has to do with the four gods. The girl Takiko gets sucked into the world and apparently she's the priestess of genbu. She has to gather the 7 protectors of Genbu and then when she does that she can summon genbu to make wishes and what not and repair the war-torn world.

Ahhh, ok, yeah. The names are a bit different in mine (Takiko = Miaka and Genbu = Suzaku) but the basics are exactly the same.

techniqually it's a yaoi but I haven't read the last two volumes so I don't know how far they go. It's one of those guy likes guy but the other guy doesn't know his feelings until the end type story. No sex in what I read.

sounds good. It's a relatively short series so it should be easy to acquire. My favorite series is Planetes if you want to look into it, it's only 5 volumes. I also recommend BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, it's a longer series but is being released at snail pace in the states.

Beck=The most awesome manga EVER!! and if you can't find the actual hard copies of mangas you can always read the scans until the hard copies are available.
